Our seniors defeated Erin Rovers in Round 2 of the Division 2 League last Friday evening on a scoreline of 2-19 to 0-08. Well done to the team and management. Up next is Bracknagh in two week’s time.
Congratulations to Donal Shirley, Conor Fox, Padraig McLoughlin and the Offaly Minor Footballers, who defeated Meath last Saturday 3-06 to 2-08 in Round 2 of the Leinster Championship. Up next is Longford in three week’s time in the last group game.

The Tubber GAA Lotto Draw took place on Sunday 3rd April for a jackpot of €16,800. The numbers drawn were: 6, 10, 17, 28. No Jackpot winner and no Match 3’s. Hard luck to Moate CS Senior Ladies who were defeated by St Mary's High School Midleton in the All Ireland 'A' Final on Saturday. The final score was 1-12 to 0-07. Well done to all on a great year.
Congratulations to Saoirse McGuinness and the Offaly Intermediate Ladies Footballers, who defeated Limerick in the Division 4 League Final on Sunday on a score line of 3-12 to 4-04.
Hard luck to the Moate CS Senior Hurling team, who were beaten in a high-scoring Leinster 'C' Final by a strong Coláiste an Átha Kilmuckridge team from Wexford in Abbotstown Centre of Excellence last Thursday by 6-15 to 3-16. Well done to all the lads - especially the large Tubber contingent - on a great year for hurling in the school....
Hard luck to the St Manchan's Gaels U13 first team, who were beaten in the League Final by St Vincent's in Clara on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-4. This was a much improved performance from our lads since the two teams met in the group stage, so the boys are clearly improving and can now look ahead to the Championship with confidence.Well...
Brosna Gaels Intermediate team will hope to get their Division 3 League campaign back on track when they travel to take on Shinrone this Saturday at 5.00pm. Congratulations to Dan Kelleher who picked up his 2021 Junior Hurler of the Year award last Friday night in the Bridge House Hotel.
Congratulations to Tubber footballer Paul Lyons and Breda Killane, who tied the knot in Athlone on Saturday.
The St Manchan's Gaels boys Solothon took place last weekend. The Tubber boys from the U13, U15 and U17 teams completed their part of the marathon when they took turns to solo the ball around their home pitch continuously from 12 Noon to 3pm on Sunday.
